AC HIGH VOLTAGE TEST SET
IBL" make High voltage testing sets are suitable for Power frequency AC high voltage test on transformers, motors, insulators, cables etc. The sets are capable of giving continuously variable AC HIGH VOLTAGE from zero to maximum rated output voltage. Input: Generally, 230 Volts, 50Hz, single phase AC, upto 10KVA & 400/415V, two phase out of three phases for sets beyond 10KVA. However, we also manufacture AC H.V. sets workable on other input voltage at extra cost. Output: Continuously variable from zero to maximum rated output voltage. Capacity: Spread over a wide range of sets from 2.5KV to 300KV AC having capacities from several VA to hundreds of KVA. Duty cycle: Intermittent i.e., 5 minutes ON, 10 minutes OFF. However, test sets of continuous or other duty cycles can also be manufactured at extra cost. Metering: Analog voltmeter & milliammeter/ammeter. Digital meters may be provided at extra cost. Protection: Tripping mechanism for protecting the H.V. transformer against over loading. The tripping mechanism can be adjusted at 25,50 & 100% of the rated current by a rotary switch. Below 100mA & above 20mA two adjustable tripping ranges are at 50% &100%, while for sets of 20mA capacity or below only 100% is adjustable [If required by the users tripping current can be made adjustable at other values, at extra cost]. Apart from tripping mechanism, Zero start interlocking along with Overvoltage alarm & indication are provided. Mode of operation: Sets are generally, motor operated beyond 20KVA & 50KV. Motorisation facility can be available below the specified value at extra cost. H.V Transformer: H.V.Transformer used for the testing purpose can be oil cooled indoor type or Resin cast dry type as found suitable or particularly required by the customer. The H.V. winding of the high voltage testing transformers is of graded insulation, one end of which is grounded through milliammeter and tripping device while the other end remains in floating condition as H.V. terminal. These testing transformers are specially designed to withstand frequent intermittent spark over or momentary short circuit conditions under which such testing transformers are supposed to operate. Discharge Rod: For device under tests having large capacitance, discharge rod may be provided at an extra cost. DC high voltage is generally obtained by simple rectification of AC high voltage or by multiplication of relatively low AC high voltage by proper multiplier circuits as is found suitable for a particular DC HV test set. ?IBL? make 3KV or 5KV AC High Voltage Test Set is ideal for testing of Breakdown/withstand test of electrical & electronic components etc. Input : 230V +10%, 50Hz., 1 phase AC. Output : (Type: BDVMN03S) continuously variable from 0 to 3KV and (Type: BDVMN05S) continuously variable from 0 to 5KV. Capacity : 50mA maximum in the H.V. side. AC AND DC COMBINED HIGH VOLTAGE TEST SET
The above test set is suitable to perform AC High Voltage Power Frequency test on transformers, motors, cables etc. Leakage current can be measured at desired pressure and this set can be used as a source for cable fault burning. Input : 230 volts, 50 Hz., single phase, AC. However, sets with other input voltage & frequency are also manufactured if mentioned by the customer. Output(s) AC Mode : Continuously variable from 0 to maximum rated output voltage. Spread over a wide range from several VA to hundreds of KVA. Tripping current: 25%, 50% & 100% of the rated current capacity. DC Mode : Continuously variable from 0 to maximum rated output voltage. This DC HV output can be suitably used in two modes. They are: - 1) Cable fault-burning mode. 2) Cable insulation testing mode. Only one output mode will be available at a time by brief manual change over. Duty cycle: Intermittent i.e., 5 minutes ON, 10 minutes OFF. However,test sets of continuous or other duty cycles can also be manufactured at extra cost.
Series: ADHVXXYYU; XX denotes Manual operation of the set (MN) or Motor operation of the set (MT). YY denotes type of transformer i.e. cast resin type (DR) or oil cooled type (OC). U denotes no. of units. This Series will be repeated for both AC & DC mode as Series1 & Series 2 Type1: X1X1X1KY1Y1Y1 m; X1X1X1 denotes the maximum rated AC output voltage.Y1Y1Y1 denotes the current capacity in mA. HV Transformer: The Transformer will be indoor pattern cast resin trolley mounted type with one end of the HV winding earthen through low impedance circuit element. Rectifier unit: This unit consists of diode chain, filter capacitors and resistor chain. The whole DC circuit element will be coupled to the transformer & control by simple & short manual operation.
Discharge rod: A discharge rod is provided with the set.

PARTIAL DISCHARGE test set
This Test Kit is used for non-destructive means of assessing the quality of high voltage transformers, motors, cables etc., which are used in generation & distribution of electric power. The basic system consists of- Discharge measuring module Input : 230volts, 50Hz., single phase AC. Measuring Range: 0 to 5,50,500,5000pC in different switchable ranges. Discharge pulses can be detected and measurement can be done in analog scale as well as in PC. MATCHED MEASURING IMPEDANCE In series with standard capacitor this forms a voltage divider and decouples the high frequency signals to feed the discharge measuring module. The set is electro statically shielded. - Standard Capacitor: 100pf or 1000 pf.

AC HIGH VOLTAGE SPARK TESTER FOR CABLE
High Voltage Spark Tester is designed to check and test the quality of cables even at shop floor condition. So, this unit is fitted with castor wheels for easy movement. The set consists of ? i. High voltage source. ii. One electrode arrangement. Input: 230 volts, 50Hz, single phase AC. Output(s): High voltage source Continuously variable high voltage source from 0 to maximum rated output voltage by smooth variation of autotransformer. Sets are available in different Types depending on the output voltage.

The high voltage source consists of:
- Double Wound High Voltage Transformer having one end of the H.T. winding earthen
- Zero-Start interlocking protection and short circuit protective device are provided.
Metering: Voltmeter is coupled to the primary of the transformer and scaled in kV according to the ratio of the transformer.
Electrode arrangement The PVC coated cables made to pass through brass ball & chain, which are carrying high voltage. These balls are strongly supported by rugged chain within a protective cage equipped with safety switch. The cable under test enters and leaves the cage through smooth insulating supports for minimum friction. Since the inside conductor of the cable is earthen, if any pinhole comes, detecting circuit works instantaneously. Length of Electrode chamber is about 100 cm. Fault Alarm: Audio Alarm is provided which acts when some fault passes through ball chain. Fault counter: An electromagnetic counter is provided to count the fault. AC High Voltage Spark Tester at High Frequency i.e. 2.5KHz. is also available.
