Abbe Refractometer is a reliable instrument for accurate measurement of Indices of Refraction of transparent liquids, solutions and solids. It can also be used for measurement of dispersion and also for measurement of percentage of Sugar in sugar solutions. From standard tablets the values of refractive indices can be converted in to percentage of sugar. Permits measurements of refractive indices of liquids, transparent and translucent solutions and solids. Measurable range extends from 1.300 to 1.700. Accuracy 0.001 by direct reading and 0.0001 by estimation. Finely marked glass translucent are scale. Permits measurement of percentage of sugar. Permits measurement of dispersion.
