This device shows how the rate of acceleration of an object depends upon the angle of incline. It features an aluminum frame (“trolley”) with two low-friction pulleys. There are 3 holes in the bottom of the frame for easy attachment of weights, protected by brackets which let you place trolley at any point along the wire. |

How to Use: Screw two hooks into your classroomn wall and stretch the included cable between them. Use tape to mark a midpoint on the wall. Raise the trolley and time its as it passes the marker. Move the marker to the position where the trolley passes in a known time and determine a, acceleration. |
