The Burglar Alarm Circuit Demonstrator consists of an Optical Transducer, which detects the presence or absence of light. The obstruction to normal light is detected and an audio alarm is initiated. When the obstruction is removed from incidence of normal light, the audio alarm stops. The change in state of light is made use of to detect the presence of an obstruction. The detection electronics identifies these two states. For successful demonstration ambient light is required, similar to 25 watts incandescent lamp (ordinary bulb). This is only a demonstrator. Specifications: - Optical Transducer. 1 No.
- Interface Electronics to detect bi-state input.
- Piezo Electric Alarm. 1 No.
- The system has built-in power supply suitable for the above.
