This unique plastic model provides easy assembly of the model and then twisting it into a double helix, instead of building it around a center post as in other conventional models. Each of the four nitrogenous bases comes in a different unlabeled color, so the students can design their own base pair coding. The model is removable from the plastic base and can be extended to its full length to demonstrate standard separation with numbered Key Card. |
