NEWTONIAN DEMONSTRATOR OR COLLISION BALLS WOODEN FRAME
(0124) |
Dramatically illustrates Newton's third law of motion and works well on an overhead projector. Its graphical demonstration of elastic collisions qualitatively, is far superior to any other device on account of its size and total absence of friction. The unit is completely assembled and consists of a frame with six plated steel balls of 19 mm diameter, suspended on the frame through lightweight cord. By pulling and releasing the different number of balls, collision results among the balls can be observed to draw many interpretations. |
