For demonstrating that white light is composed of all the spectral colours through the additive mixing of the colours. Comprising a multicoloured circular disc of about 80mm diameter, having sectors of various spectral color in proper proportions, mounted on a low voltage DC motor. On rotating the disc, all the colours are observed to disappear by merging into a single white colour. Provided with colour-coded wires terminating in 4mm banana plugs, connected to the motor for power input. |
