This substantially enlarged model of plant vasculature structure of an herbaceous dicot stem section with all the details highlighted in vivid colors, makes it easier to study this model and understand the structure and function of a plant stem. The single, open, collateral, vascular bundle of an herbaceous dicot is shown longitudinally and cross sectioned, clearly showing the elements of the xylem and phloem.
