CONNECTORS

RETORT STAND
These non-corrosive, moulded Retort stands provide excellent replacement for the metal ones. Even the metallic rod has a polypropyelene covering making it non corrosive. DESICCATOR (PLAIN)
Plain desiccators are physically the same as Vacuum Desiccator. Only difference is the absence of stop cock. Grease should be applied on the flanges to make it air tight. Sizes : 150mm, 200mm, 250mm

DESICCATOR (VACCUM)
Desiccators are made of Polypropyelene and Polycarbonate. These autoclavable vacuum desiccators can hold vacuum upto 740mm of Hg for 24 hrs. without any greasing.
The top dome, moulded in rigid and transparent POlycarbonate, gives a crystal clear view of the desiccant placed inside. The knurled knob on the top provides easy handling of the dome . The lower part is made of Polypropylene. An internal groove is provided on the flange to hold a silicon rubber O-ring.
The Polypropylene stopcock is fitted with a seld lubricating PTFE plug. This plug works three way i.e. vaccum creation, shutting off and vaccum releasing.
Each desiccator is provided with a thick perforated Polypropyelene disc with a big hole in the centre for easy lifting. The tiny holes in the disc provide air troughs & support to the dishes. However porcelain discs are advisable in case of incandescent crucibles.

STOP COCKS
These polypropylene stop cocks are fitted with a PTFE plug & have serrated tubulations that accept from 6mm to 10mm tubing. These stop cocks are ansolutely leakproof and are available in two different options i.e. 2 way & 3 way.

KIPPS APPARATUS
Kipps Apparatus ,ade of Polyethylene has three main portions. The top portion is fitted with a thistle funnel and a bulb structure through which dilute acid can be poured which react with a metal sulphide in the base of the apparatus. H S gas then envolved collects in the middle dome from where it can be released through a leakproof stopcock fitted with a self lubricating PTFE plug. The base is provided with a residual outlet fitted with a cap for easy cleaning. Cap. : 250ml, 500ml, 1000ml

BUCHNER FUNNEL
Moulded in Polypropylene, these two piece funnels are light weight, easy to clean & autoclavable. The top portion can be snap fitted with the lower one forming a vacuum seal which does not require greasing. The base of the top portion has a perforated filter plate. Size : 70mm, 110mm
