OPTICAL BENCH, METAL PIPE (0543)
Optical bench made of square section aluminium pipe, mounted on a pair of cast metal supports with leveling screws. A scale graduated in millimeters is fixed on top of the square pipe. Includes four specially designed, easy sliding tilt-proof riders with index mark for mounting various accessories, heights of accessories adjustable. Two of the sliders also have provision for transverse motion with fine adjustment knob. Supplied complete with four accessories - two lens holders and two optical pins.

OPTICAL BENCH, ALUMINIUM EXTRUSION (0544)
Made from specially designed rugged aluminium extrusion and also permits the use of standard Light Box and Optical set for ray optics investigations. The accompanied prism table provides for the experiments in diffraction of light through prisms. The Light Box can itself be used as light source and the lens and blocks [prisms] in the optical set on the prism table. The extruded optical bench length has a 0-100cm x 1 mm scale and has tiltproof, easy sliding moulded plastic riders with index mark for mounting of various uprights and accessories. Heavy, sturdy metal bench made of a pair of plated metal rods mounted parallel and supported at both ends by cast metal legs with leveling screws. One of the rods has engraved scale graduated in millimeters. Includes heavy cast metal riders with index mark for mounting accessories, with heights of the accessories adjustable. Two of the riders have slow-motion knobs to allow transverse motion of accessories for their axial adjustment/alignment. Includes accessories same as in OPTICAL BENCH METAL PIPE.

Comprises a lightweight alloy extrusion having angular profile, about 1 m long, with a scale on one side graduated in millimeters.
